Poverty persist as one of the most significant global challenge. According to a report from the World Bank (2015), an increasing number of extremely poor people are concentrated in Sub Saharan Africa, with an estimated 413 million people in the continent still living in extreme poverty. In the past, development/foreign aid was seen as the solution to solving poverty. However, the failure of such assistance to reach the targeted group has led to increasing alternatives to solutions that will contribute to eradicate worldwide poverty especially in least developed regions.
